Access Control Technician

We are a fast paced growing Fence Company servicing both residential and commercial clients for over 10 years.

We are seeking an honest, self-driven individual for our fast paced Access Control Division. Self-motivated and conscientious worker striving continually towards excellence in workmanship and time management. A team player who takes pride and ownership of work performance.

Responsibilities:

• Service on all makes and models of gate operators, crash rated barrier systems, card readers, gate hardware and access control related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose failed access control equipment in the field.
• Provide job layout and recommendations and equipment locations.
• Work with low voltage, 110 volt and 220 volt without supervision.
• Knowledge and ability to do the following: Trench, pull wire, saw cut asphalt and concrete, mix concrete and straighten bent gates, etc.
• Keep overall truck appearance (clean, organized, safe, handle company property and equipment with respect with safety first and maintain proper inventory levels on vehicle).
• Be respectful and courteous to customers during service work and new installations.
• Use time efficiently keeping support staff of work conditions that might cause a project/job delay.
• Accurately fill out work orders, as built information, monitor job progress and other related company documents.
• Able to lift 80lbs.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Requirements:

High School degree.

Trade school(s) or any other related training for gate automation.

Valid driver’s license.

Mechanical or low voltage experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
